Beer A Day: Jupiler

I know, I missed a day, already.  Hey, life happens.  And during this weekend away from the computer there was still beer consumption of massive amounts. Of  a Belgian favorite to be exact.

Jupiler is a Belgian beer brewed by Piedboeuf Brewery in Jupille-sur-Meuse, Belgium. Jupiler is the top-selling beer in Belgium.

Jupiler:  5.2%abv. Suggested serving temperature: cold/froid/frio.  It ain’t the best beer out there but it sure beats American Budweiser.  Again it is a small brewer who was taken over by the larger InBev (Budweiser) corporation.  It is a bit heavier than your average pale lager and has decent flavor out of a can, but most choose to buy 24 returnable bottles at a time.  I also like that at most train station vending machines it is available for less than a can of Coke.  It is an, “I’m going out all night (or weekend) on the piss” kind of beer.  Easy to drink and cheap.

So instead of “Beer A Day”, this one is “Beer of the Weekend”  Sit on the beach and enjoy.
